Red Dog Rub #101
We named this rub after our favorite fiery red dogs:
Red, Pete, Phoenix, Rocky, Paws, Blaze, Roamin,
Hot Tamale, and others. These goldens are as fiery
as this rub. We like it on steaks, chops, burgers,
wild turkey (not the liquor!), pheasant, quail,
chukkar, and chicken. If you’re looking for
something to kick your food off the plate into
a whole other realm of taste, this is it. Just
rub on some olive oil and Red Dog Rub,
and put a match to the charcoal!
Blended with mild and warm red
peppers, parsley, garlic, other spices and a hint

Black
Dog Belly Rub #102
We dedicate this rub to one of my favorite black dogs,
NFTCH Carronade’s O’ Rylee Factor. Rylee
is a very special Lab and won the 2003 Canadian National
Retriever Championship at the age of 2 with Dan
Devos as handler/trainer. Rylee is now at Handjem
Retrievers for her Ph.D. Rylee is the right blend of
bold and beauty, the way a great steak should be off
the grill. Steaks and chops complement this rub perfectly.
Coat the beef in olive oil, rub on the Black
Dog Belly Rub, and grill it to a nice medium
rare. Top it off with a pat of blue cheese, or jalapeno,
martini, horseradish, or bourbon butter, and you're
set for dinner!

No, this is not to be used on cats! Rowdy Kitty
Rub is dedicated to the rowdy rescue cats
that live at Sally’s – Domino, Willy and
Sasquatch. They control chipmunks, moles and mice.
And no, we don’t use this rub on them, either! Rowdy
Kitty Rub has a whole different twang for
your mouth. We grill or bake chicken, pork and lamb
chops for a sensational flavor. Mom makes a turkey
club with a dash of Rowdy Kitty Rub.

Rub (low sodium) #104
Don't let the name fool you! Awesome Antler Rub is
fabulous on beef, poultry and game. And it's also great
on roasted potatoes with a little olive oil. Dedicated
to Gary, an avid hunter, who has provided us with venison
fit for royalty. Gary will deliver any cut, size, or
grind of venison in trade for Whatsa-majiggi Sauce (that's
how much he likes it).
Blended with black pepper, rosemary,

Fish Rub #105
As featured on cable TV’s “Hunt
Fish Cook” program. Look for J. Paul
Jackson’s recipe! We
call him Chez Paul. He’s a noted hunting
guide, an excellent retriever trainer, and
boy, can he cook!
Whether you caught saltwater, freshwater,
or just bought shellfish from the market, Feisty
Fish Rub will flip your fins! Rub it on
with olive oil and grill it, or include it in your
favorite Beurre Blanc or light cream sauce. Either
way, Feisty Fish Rub is just the
right blend of sizzle and flavor. But don’t
stop with seafood. Any great chef knows you can
experiment. (You might leave it off the PB&J,
though.)

Yellow
Dog Sweet Shake #106
If you have never grilled fruit or cake, then you'll
go bonkers for this lively rub. Named after our sweet,
yellow labs, Cory, Phanny, and Zeke, this rub is a must
for every kitchen. We use it on pineapple, bananas, peaches
and pears. It's also great on pound cake, and angel food
cake, and waffles. Be sure to clean of your grill grates
and burn off residue from dinner. Brush fruit and cake
with melted butter and shake on Yellow Dog generously.
Grill over medium heat until golden brown. Yum, yum,
yum!
Blended with brown turbinado sugar,
ginger, cinnamon, vanilla powder, and nutmeg. No preservatives. |

Wow-a Chihuahua (low
sodium) #108
This Tex-Mex blend has just the right amount of zip.
It's not too hot, yet it will make your taste buds
take notice. We love
it on pork chops and pork tenderloin. We also like
to make fish, chicken, beef, shellfish tacos with
it. Why buy Taco mix from the store that has
"stuff" in it like MSG and other undesirables? Plus,
it costs a lot less! Add it to chili. You can put
it on ripe avocados for a quick guacamole. Mom loves
it on russet potatoes that have been cut into wedges,
coated with a little olive oil and roasted in the
oven. Add it to sour cream and yogurt for a chip
dip. Wow-a is right! |

Gallopin'
Gourmet Shake #109
Yummmmmmm. That's what this shake reminds me of. Herbs
with a bit of minced onion and garlic. Course-ground
green peppercorns with just enough to kick-up your heels.
Blended for shaking on veggies but please don't hold
yourself back. Shake it on fish, poultry, and shellfish.
Add Gallopin' Gourmet to vinegar
and oil for a salad dressing. Mix with mayo and sourcream,
refrigerate for two hours for a different potato salad.
We even softened butter, add Gallopin'
Gourmet Shake and spread
it on warm crusty French bread. Herbalicious and delicious. |

You'll whimper over this rub. A dry molé featuring cocoa, Ancho chile, black pepper, coriander, turbinado sugar, herbs, cinnamon, garlic, Cayenne pepper and sea salt. Fabulous on pork, poultry, duck, goose, quail, pheasant. Brush with olive oil and rub on Brown Dog. Bake broil, or grill. |
